Let's setup the API Key for Twitter login under the uhacc Twitter account.

Okay. I did a little searching. Am I correct that I need to create a new application to obtain an api key?

The form asks for an app name, description, website, and (optional) call backup url.

Edit: Okay, I've setup and app and put the API's into the settings for the forums.

Do we want to duplicate the category structure of the old forums or come up with something new?

I think our old categories work alright, but need to be renamed and need some more copy surrounding what they include. I tried to replicate the structure with a real test post and I don't think it actually works that great as a hierarchy. I think they'll work better if we can reduce the category names to one word or two with a much longer category description.

I added most of the categories from the old site, renamed to be one or two words. I also left off the "Talk" categories as they now fit nicely under the over-arching categories.

Github logins are enabled.
Facebook logins are enabled.
Twitter logins seem to work.

I've setup and app and put the API's into the settings

@herteljt I created a new app under my account and those API keys worked. I think the ones you generated were wonky somehow. Want to try regenerating them?

SSL

SSL Certs are installed. (Still working on them for mail serving.)

As such, I've opened up unauthenticated site browsing, and we're no longer requiring account approval.

Major last things (I think) are graphic design elements and the ability to reply to things by email. (Working on that last part right now.)

@herteljt Can you update the Callback for the Twitter stuff to be an https url?

Sounds like a good idea to shorten them. #brevity is the name of the game now.
